A company called Geospatial Systems has created an app that will let you find out exactly where you are by measuring the elevation of your property.
The app, which launched in the U.K. last month, is being used to track the elevation at each location.
The app will let users know where they are, how far away they are from the nearest water source, and what type of vegetation is present.
The information is then passed on to the geocoder to determine whether the user has an available permit to plant a garden or have an area that needs to be surveyed for construction.
The geocoding system will then tell the user if the area is suitable for landscaping, and how many acres they should consider having in their property.
Users can even upload a map of their home to use as a reference point to locate the exact location of their property, which will then be automatically downloaded to the app.
The application is only available in the United Kingdom, however, and is not available for use in the rest of Europe.
Geospatial is part of a larger project to provide users with a better understanding of the properties that they own.
“Our goal with the geospatial app is to help you better understand your location and to allow you to plan for it and manage it better,” the company said in a statement.
“We are looking forward to exploring more geo-located applications in the future.”
