Police in Texas say a man is being held on a $25,000 bond after fatally shooting his wife and wounding two others.
The woman was shot and killed outside her home on Thursday night.
She was taken to a hospital, but died of her injuries Friday.
The man was taken into custody on Friday.
The Dallas Morning News reports that authorities have identified the woman as 29-year-old Angela L. Smith, who lived in a Dallas suburb and was married to her boyfriend, 36-year.
She worked as a health and human services administrator at the county office of health.
She had a 6-year old daughter.
The suspect, who police identified as 35-year year-old David P. Smith of Garland, Texas, was arrested in Garland on Friday, according to authorities.
He is being charged with two counts of capital murder, a capital felony and two counts related to the intentional discharge of a firearm, according a statement from the Garland Police Department.
A Texas law enforcement official tells ABC News that police received a call Thursday night that a woman was fatally shot in her Garland home.
Police arrived at the home and found a woman who had been shot, according the official.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities did not release the name of the man.
